Amy Fish climbed the ranks in Corporate America with the Limited and FedEx always with a hyper focus on her team, then left that to spread her entrepreneurial wings. She has started her own HR consulting company, has helped launch multiple musician artist careers and is on the ground floor of launching a boot company, called Jacqi Bling. She is currently managing emerging global artist, Erin Kinsey. And has her hands in a number of other things. Amy’s faith runs deep and her purpose is to honor God by using all the talents He’s given her to the fullest. Have you ever been on a trip or vacation (or even on a staycation in your own city) and wanted to steer clear of the tourist traps and do the things that locals do, but had no idea where to find trustworthy recommendations that fit your style and budget? Yeah, us too. That’s why we are super excited to introduce you to Patrick Gallagher this week. Patrick has developed an app, called LGND, that uses local “guides” to create “packs” of recommendations that include restaurants, bars and nightlife, activities, and things to know. And it’s free to download. The app recently launched with Charleston as it focus, since Patrick lives here, but has plans to quickly expand to include other popular tourist destinations such as Austin, Denver, Nashville, New Orleans and nearly a dozen other cities. We had the incredible opportunity this week to sit down with Jessica Beran. One of the things we loved learning about Jess is that she’s driven to help people. Over the last 25 years, that drive has enabled her to start Dance Moves of Charleston, which includes two dance studios and a travelling dance group that goes into more than 25 schools to teach kids dance.
