Josh Watts – founder of MedTrust Medical Transport serving Charleston, Georgetown, and Murrells inlet, SC – was taught early on by his father that if you’re going to own a company, make it be a company worth owning. This involves making MedTrust not only a company worth working for, but a company worth working with. He and his team have worked hard to do things differently in the industry and raise the bar by measuring their own performance. As a result, they are in the process of tripling – yes, I said tripling – their size over the last several months. Josh is fiercely committed to his team, his family, and his own personal growth and development as a leader. In this episode we talk about how he recovered from the loss of his partner, Buddy Koon, who was a father figure to him and how he maintains Buddy’s legacy in the company. And we also talk about how to build a good team and what keeps those good people from wanting to leave. Whether you sitting behind the wheel stuck in traffic, on a walk, or sipping a cup of coffee (or wine), we’re pleased to introduce you to Josh Watts… a man on a mission to help as many people as he can.
