Marion Hawkins is one guy who is not afraid of hard work. He’s had a long, successful career as an architect, worked in his family business, started his own business, and now, along with his beautiful wife Lori, is the visionary behind 86 Cannon, an exquisite luxury boutique inn nestled right in the heart of Charleston, SC. An experience at 86 Cannon is surely one to remember. Marion and Lori have paid meticulous attention to each detail, they source all amenities provided at the Inn from local artisans, and they have the kind and caring hospitality gene coursing through the every fiber of their being. In this episode, you’ll hear some of what it’s taken to turn a classic Charleston single in desperate need of restoration into a thriving luxury boutique inn that, just six months after opening, is often at capacity and is getting noticed by prominent bloggers and press. Not only a GSD Entrepreneur through and through, Marion is one of the nicest guys we’ve met in a long time. Thanks for listening and getting to know a little about our friend, Marion Hawkins.
