We’re on location at Fresh Future Farm with Germaine Jenkins, founder and Master Gardener, and Karen Latsbaugh, founder of Cities & Shovels and right hand person at the farm. Many people dream big, but these ladies are actually pursuing those dreams and making them happen. Inspired by the need to provide healthy food for her family as a single mom, Germaine turned her backyard into a garden. Years later, that vision has now grown into a multi-faceted 1 acre farm with fruits, vegetables, chickens, bees, a grocery store, and so much more.
